Three years ago, Prince Charming left town without his princess. Now he’s back to win her heart...if she’ll let him.

Big city lawyer Brady James has concocted The Cinderella Plan to win back the love of small-town librarian Hannah Spenser. The Cinderella Plan edition by Heather Webber Literature Fiction eBooks

I really appreciate Heather Webber's style of romance - sexy but not explicit, staying to the sweeter side of the genre. This work, however, went from sweetly steamy to syrupy putrescence. There is no suspense, nothing even close to tension, in the plot, and the characters are boringly cliche. Some of the lines actually made me cringe, they were so overly profuse and scripted. This book is a light read, and has a moment or two of shining humour, but mostly it felt like being stuck inside the head of a woman with too many fantasies and not enough real-life loving. Try Webber's Valentine Inc series, instead. Or Gemma Halliday's High Heels Mysteries. Meg Cabot's got some decent ones. Or check out Shannon Hale's Austenland. All are better than this!

The Cinderella Plan edition by Heather Webber Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Heather creates a unique twist on a classic story, with entertaining characters and a riveting plot. I read this on a rainy day and it was the perfect escape; loved Hannah and Brady and the charming turns-of-fate that bring them together. As always, the author also creates a strong setting, making me feel like I'm actually IN the story and walking alongside the characters as their story unwinds. Excellent read!
Ok - so this author shows that anyone can write and publish a novel - so sad, it's like a daytime fake college commercials "If I can do it you can do it." No real plot line, suspense, or adventure. I read books to take me away from reality - I'd rather the reality of a 60+ hour work week. Spreadsheets and reports are more stimulating. To me the lead character, a fat and frumpy librarian (not even a BBW), was very uninspiring and so pathetic all I did was think - she doesn't deserve the prize. Then there was the prize... a lawyer with troubled past - he could have been alright if his character evolved, I have no idea what was troubled in his past or even what kind of lawyer he was. Ah well - that does it for me. I never write these reviews, but the other 3 reviews sold me. I hope I can save others their $$$ and generally point them away from this author. Subpar.
Not up to her usual standard.
Fighting her attraction and desire for Brady, Hannah tries to keep her distance, but fate continues to bring them closer to one another. This was a sweet and enjoyable romance with a happily-ever-after.
Heather Webber continues to amaze me. I loved reading the Cinderalla Plan. I'm used to reading Heather's mysteries and moving into the romance genre is right up her alley. It's a creative story using the old time fairy tale that's been updated to a great romance set in a fun small town. It's touching and you will fall in love with Brady as he wins Hannah's heart back. He's truly a PRINCE CHARMING!!
I enjoyed this story. I liked the characters - especially Hannah. I think Ms. Webber did a good job of showing the reader the insecurities a young person may have about their appearance. The positive message that beauty lies within is a very strong element to the story.

I have liked everything I have read by Heather Webber.
Absolutely, Positively A Lucy Valentine Novel
Deeply, Desperately A Lucy Valentine Novel
Definitely, Maybe (Lucy Valentine Short Story)
Truly, Madly A Novel
This was pretty rough. The book was full of cheese and the plot totally predictable. I thought there might be one complication at the end to spark up the plot, but it was pretty much how I figured it would end. I was so tired of the main character judging herself all the time. Only her man could get her to see her true beauty. Blah, blah, blah. Skip this one if you like real literature. If you are looking for a sappy beach read, this may be the book for you.
